A high-torque 90VDC motor with variable speed control which is internally equipped with a converter that automatically adjusts to incoming AC current from 100 to 240 volts, 50 or 60 cycles/sec without loss of torque; 24" (610 mm) bed that has 17" (431 mm) between centers; 2.5" (63 mm) resettable "zero" handwheel on the leadscrew, plus two deluxe 2" (51 mm) resettable "zero" handwheels on the feed screw and crosslide; 2.75" (70 mm) x 6.0" (152 mm) crosslide with two T-slots; rocker tool post in place of standard type; two position pulleys; Kevlar reinforced drive belt and adjustable anti-backlash.

The Wire Saw offers the most gentle mechanical method for cutting virtually any material using either a diamond impregnated wire blade or a plain wire blade with an abrasive slurry. In addition to traditional mechanical cutting, the saw can also be used as a string saw to cut water soluble crystals. It is most useful for cutting fragile crystals, substrates with delicate layers or any material that would be damaged when using a diamond wheel saw. Very brittle materials will cut the fastest, but even soft materials can be cut since there is not the problem of loading the blade that is inherent with diamond or abrasive wheels. The Wire Saw has sample holders available to hold virtually any shape sample including a goniometer to simplify the cutting of oriented crystals.

Standard bench polishing and grinding lathe ideal for the office or lab. A maintenance free 1⁄4 HP motor powers the 1725/3450 rpm lathe. Provided with standard dental, tapered shafts. Includes left-chuck and right-chuck remover for easy removal of standard dental chucks. The 4½" shaft height and standard tapered shafts will accommodate almost all dental lathe accessories.

The Vacuum Power Mixer Plus provides a single drive speed of 425 RPM. This slow speed is ideal for mixing quantities from 5 gram to 1,000 gram of plaster, stone, die material, investment and alginate.
